Qualifying Conditions
Texas initially opened the Compassionate Use Program to Texas residents with intractable epilepsy in 2015. In 2019, Texas expanded the list of conditions to include many more conditions including Autism, MS and ALS. In 2021, PTSD and all forms of cancer including non-terminal were added which takes effect September 1, 2021.
Approved conditions include:
- ALS
- Alzheimer's
- Autism
- Cancer
- Epilepsy and other seizure disorders
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Parkinson's
- PTSD
- Over 100+ other neurological conditions
